The cast-iron plant Aspidistra elatior, also known as cast-iron plant or bar-room plant, is one of the most robust houseplants of all. With its broad, deep green, glossy leaves, it gives any room an elegant, classic look. In hydroculture it is particularly easy to care for and ideal for living spaces, offices and shady spots where many other plants would struggle.
Care in hydroculture:
Light:
Copes very well with shady to semi-shaded spots. Avoid direct sun, as it can scorch the leaves.
Temperature:
15–25 °C is ideal. It can also withstand cooler temperatures for short periods and is considered very tolerant.
Humidity:
Uncomplicated in normal room air. Extra humidity is not necessary – it also copes well with dry air from heating.
Water & nutrients:
Check the water level in the hydroculture pot regularly and avoid waterlogging. Add hydroculture fertiliser to the water every 4–6 weeks to support healthy growth.

Habe Pflanze erst vor kurzem erhalten sehr schöne Pflanze. Eine Bewertung ist in so kurzer Zeit nicht möglich; mal schauen wie Sie in ein paar Monaten aussieht.
