Product information "Hydro - Dracaena Florida Beauty - Ø15/19 cm"
Dracaena Florida Beauty, also known as "Florida asparagus", is a popular houseplant belonging to the Dracaenaceae family. This plant originally comes from the tropical regions of Africa and Asia. It is characterised by its attractive, lanceolate leaves, which can vary in different shades of green and often have cream-coloured or yellowish markings. Caring for Dracaena Florida Beauty in hydroculture differs slightly from caring for it in conventional soil.

Hydroculture care tips:

Location:
Dracaena Florida Beauty thrives in a bright spot, but not in direct sunlight. A position with bright, indirect light is ideal.

Temperature:
The plant prefers room temperatures between 18°C and 24°C.

Water:
In hydroculture, the plant needs regular watering with water that is specially suited to hydroculture plants. Make sure the water is not too hard and that the plant is not standing in water, to avoid root rot.

Feeding:
The plant should be fed regularly with a special hydroculture fertiliser to make sure it receives all the nutrients it needs.

Humidity:
Dracaena Florida Beauty prefers moderate humidity. Occasionally misting the leaves with water can help to increase humidity.

Repotting:
In hydroculture, repotting is needed less often than in conventional soil. If the roots become too large for the current pot, the plant can be moved to a larger hydroculture container.

Pests:
Keep a regular eye out for pests such as spider mites or aphids. If necessary, they can be treated with a suitable insecticide for hydroculture plants.
