Light:
Dracaena fragrans 'Arturo' thrives in a bright spot, but out of direct sunlight. It can also do well in slightly shady areas.
Watering:
Watering in hydroculture differs from watering in soil. Water should be poured regularly into the container holding the clay pebbles or the medium. Make sure the roots are not standing in water, to avoid rot.
Humidity:
Dracaena fragrans 'Arturo' thrives in humid air. Occasionally misting the leaves with water can help increase the humidity around the plant.
Feeding:
Use a balanced liquid fertiliser specially developed for hydroculture plants every few months. Follow the dosage instructions on the packaging.
Temperature:
The ideal temperature for Dracaena is between 18°C and 24°C. It should be protected from draughts to avoid stress.
Repotting:
Repotting is needed less often in hydroculture than in soil. However, check the roots occasionally and move the plant to a larger pot if the root ball becomes too big.
