Accessories:
The Pleomele Dracaena reflexa Song of Jamaica impresses with its elegant, upright growth and narrow, decoratively striped leaves in rich green with lighter, yellow-green edges. With its exotic charm, it brings freshness and vitality to living spaces, offices or reception areas. In hydroculture it is particularly easy to care for and long-lasting – ideal for stylish interiors.
Care in hydroculture:
Light:
Bright to semi-shaded location without direct midday sun. A spot with plenty of light promotes intense leaf colouring and compact growth.
Temperature:
18–26 °C is ideal. Temperatures below 16 °C should be avoided over longer periods.
Humidity:
Very adaptable and well suited to normal indoor air. Occasional misting helps the plant, especially in heated rooms.
Water & nutrients:
Check the water level in the hydroculture pot regularly and only top up when the water level indicator reaches the minimum range. Feed every 2–4 weeks with special hydroculture fertiliser.
Special features:
With its tropical, bushy growth and elegantly arching leaves, ‘Song of Jamaica’ is a stylish eye-catcher. It is ideal for modern interior design and impresses with its robust, easy-care nature.
