Dracaena Surculosa Bush, also known as gold dust dracaena, originally comes from the tropical regions of Africa and Asia. It is characterised by its elegant, lance-shaped leaves with golden-yellow speckles, which give it an exotic look. Thanks to its robustness and decorative appearance, it is a popular houseplant and is also excellent for hydroculture.
Hydroculture care tips:
Light:
Bright, indirect light is ideal, but semi-shaded locations are also tolerated.
Temperature:
Temperatures between 18 and 25 °C are ideal. Temperatures below 15 °C should be avoided.
Humidity:
Average indoor air is sufficient. Occasionally misting the leaves can promote growth.
Water:
The water level in the hydroculture container should be checked regularly. A low to medium water level is ideal.
Nutrients:
A special hydroculture fertiliser should be used every 4 weeks to maintain the nutrient balance.
Special features:
Dust should be removed from the leaves regularly, and dead leaves can be cut back to keep the plant healthy.

Die Hydropflanze kam
Die Hydropflanze kam mit einigen gelben Blättern (wohl verursacht durch die Hitze) bei uns an. Auch im Nachgang der Lieferung bildeten sich noch gelbe Blätter aus. Da die Pflanze über viele Blätter verfügt, fällt die Entfernung der gelben Exemplare nicht markant ins Gewicht.
