Scindapsus Epipremnum Aureum, also known as golden pothos, impresses with its heart-shaped, bright green leaves, which are often streaked with golden-yellow accents. In hydroculture it is particularly easy to care for – ideal for modern living spaces, offices and anyone who appreciates robust, evergreen plants.
Care in hydroculture:
Light:
Bright to partially shaded spot; also tolerates somewhat less light. Avoid direct sun, as it can scorch the leaves.
Temperature:
18–26 °C is optimal; do not keep below 16 °C for long periods.
Humidity:
Very adaptable, also thrives in normal indoor air. Higher humidity promotes leaf growth.
Water & nutrients:
Check the water level in the hydroculture pot regularly and avoid waterlogging. Add hydroculture fertiliser to the water every 2–4 weeks.
Special features:
Golden pothos grows quickly and can be grown either trailing or climbing – ideal for hanging baskets, shelves or as a decorative room divider. Its evergreen leaves bring fresh greenery to any room.
