History of the Dracaena Janet Lind

Dracaena Janet Lind is an elegant and extremely easy-care houseplant that impresses with its dense, upright growth and glossy dark green leaves. Its narrow, slightly overhanging leaves grow in dense rosettes and give the plant a timeless and modern appearance. The Janet Lind variety is one of the most popular dragon tree varieties and is particularly valued for its robustness and its adaptability to different light conditions. Dracaena species originally come from the tropical regions of Africa and Asia, where they thrive in warm climate zones.

Care as a houseplant:

• Light: Bright to partially shaded spot; the plant also copes well with less light. Avoid direct sun.

• Temperature: Ideally 18–27 °C; temperatures below 15 °C should be avoided.

• Humidity: Medium; normal indoor air is well tolerated.

• Substrate: Loose, free-draining foliage plant substrate.

• Watering: Water moderately; let the substrate dry out slightly between waterings. Avoid waterlogging.

• Feeding: During the growing season, feed every 4 weeks with a liquid fertiliser for foliage plants.

• Special features: Its robust nature and good adaptability make this plant ideal for living rooms, offices and shadier locations.

Overwintering tips:
