Phytoseiulus predatory mites - Against spider mites


Spider mites cause pale speckles on the leaves and, in heavy infestations, form fine webs. The predatory mites Phytoseiulus persimilis are natural enemies of spider mites and suck them dry. Application: Sprinkle the supplied substrate containing the predatory mites evenly over the plants. They need humidity above 60 % (mist the plants lightly) and temperatures above 18 °C.

Note: 200 predatory mites are enough for approx. 5–10 plants (40 cm tall). In heavy infestations, repeat after a few days. Best applied immediately on receipt.


Storage: Refrigerated at 5–8°C

Shelf life: 1–2 days

Application season: Spring, summer, autumn, winter (January - December)

Important: In very hot or cold weather, shipping of the beneficial insects may be postponed by a few days for their wellbeing. This can therefore cause weather-related delivery delays . Beneficial insects are shipped according to availability and taking ideal temperatures / soil temperatures into account.
