Lacewing larvae against aphids

Lacewing larvae are natural predators of aphids and can devour up to 50 a day. They are adaptable and suitable for pest control indoors.


Application: The larvae (2–8 mm in size) are sprinkled onto the leaves together with the carrier material or placed near the aphids with a brush. The minimum temperature for use is 15 °C.

Application period: January to December

Note: Do not release near ants, as they protect aphids. Release immediately after receipt. 80–100 larvae are enough for 1 large or 4 small plants.

Important: In very hot or cold weather, shipping of the beneficial insects may be postponed by a few days for their well-being. This may therefore cause weather-related delivery delays. The beneficial insects are shipped according to availability and taking into account the ideal temperatures / soil temperatures.
