Hypoaspis predatory mites - Against soil-dwelling pests
These soil-dwelling predatory mites (Hypoaspis miles) control fungus gnat larvae in the soil of houseplants. They also feed on other soil pests such as springtails and root aphids.
Application:Simply spread the supplied substrate over the soil. The mites are active from 10 °C, ideally between 12–30 °C. They like moist soil but can also survive dry periods.
Note: It takes some time for the effect to show. 1 pack is enough for 5–10 m².
Shelf life: 1–2 days
Application season: Spring, summer, autumn, winter (January - December)
Important: In very hot or cold weather, shipping of the beneficial insects may be postponed by a few days for their well-being. This may therefore cause weather-related delivery delays . Beneficial insects are shipped according to availability and taking ideal temperatures / soil temperatures into account.
