Ficus Amstel King, also known as the Amstel King Ficus, is a popular houseplant that originates from the tropical regions of Asia. The species belongs to the mulberry family and is closely related to the rubber plant (Ficus elastica). The discovery and spread of Ficus Amstel King as a houseplant began in the Netherlands, where it attracted a great deal of attention thanks to its robust qualities and attractive appearance.
Important care tips for Ficus Amstel King as a houseplant:
Location: Place Ficus Amstel King in a spot that receives indirect light or morning or evening sun. It also tolerates some shade, but avoid direct midday sun, as this can scorch the leaves.
Watering: Make sure you keep the soil moist regularly, but not too often. Let the soil dry out slightly between waterings to avoid waterlogging, as this can lead to root rot.
Humidity: Ficus Amstel King prefers moderate humidity. If the air is too dry, mist the leaves with water now and then to improve the indoor climate.
