LECHUZA makes the world a little greener. Because the CLASSICO Color ECO 60 combines sustainability, design and easy plant care in a single
planter.
Since the black plant inserts of all LECHUZA planters are already made from 100% recycled material (PIR plastic), the ECO line is the first to also have its outer containers and false bottoms made entirely from recycled plastic (PCR plastic). To achieve this, plastic waste is shredded into granules at the recycling plant, melted down and then processed into the raw material for the ECO planters. This turns recyclable waste into a product of the usual high LECHUZA quality: the yoghurt pot or the plastic film becomes a stylish planter. This sustainable, closed recycling loop conserves fossil resources and raw materials. That is why all planters produced since summer 2023 are certified with the Blue Angel ecolabel.
Production of the ECO line relies on proven LECHUZA quality. The planters are durable, shatterproof and weather-resistant, suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The integrated LECHUZA watering system makes plant care easier, as the plants are automatically supplied with nutrients and water. A water level indicator shows the fill level, and a drainage plug in the base prevents waterlogging.
