History of the croton Mrs. Iceton (branched)
The croton (Codiaeum variegatum) Mrs. Iceton is a striking and colourful houseplant that originally comes from Southeast Asia and the Pacific islands. This variety is characterised by its bright yellow, orange and pink leaves, which become even more intense with age. As a branched form, it looks particularly bushy and decorative and brings tropical flair to any interior.
Care as a houseplant:

Light: Very bright spot with plenty of indirect light; a little direct sun intensifies the leaf colours.

Temperature: Ideally 20–28 °C; do not keep below 16 °C.

Humidity: High (over 60 %); regular misting or a humidifier is recommended.

Substrate: Loose, free-draining substrate; potting soil with a little sand or perlite is ideal.

Watering: Keep evenly moist but avoid waterlogging; let the soil dry out slightly.

Feeding: Every 2–3 weeks with liquid fertiliser during the growing season.
